Day to Day

Umm, I've started settling down now. Things are becoming more stable as time goes on. I'm starting to get used to things going on around here and I've adapted to life at the Red Sea.

At Last

Oh, at last I'm getting back to Sharm God willing. I've been wanting to get back ever since I left. Really? Well, umm ... actually I did not want to leave in the first place.

The bus ticket is in the pocket of my pants now and so are the other ID cards. Now I'm ready for travel to get back to my beloved Sharm. Quite a charm, huh?

The bus should start moving at 9am. Probably It'll arrive at something around 3:30pm at Sharm.

Back Back

Preparing now to get back once more to Sharm El Shaikh. I'll get my feesh we tashbeeh at 3pm (God willing) today as the man at the police office told me yesterday. Then I'll go off to the bus station in hope of finding a bus going to Sharm today, I mean tonight. If not, then probably I'll book a ticket for a bus travelling tomorrow or perhaps then I can just take the company bus, which is safter and less prone to security check-points that keep annoying you all the way to Sharm and back from there. So wish me luck to find a ticket, or wish me luck if I don't. See you at Sharm.

A Break

Finally I came back to Cairo once again. I had not stayed at Sharm but a few days to start with. Actually, I didn't want to get back to Cairo, but ... . Anyway, now I'm in Cairo and preparing for leaving perhaps today, this night.

Days After

Right from the first night I've been here, I wanted to jam my blog with lots of experiences I'd been through and things I sow. Yet, I was unlucky enough to find there were problems with accessing the net on my arrival. Fortunately, the silent spell was finally broken today, and the net started 'speaking' to us once more. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to recollect and collect all what I've been through during this very short yet rich period of time here at Sharm, nor am I sure if I'll ever be able to explain the things with the same vivid detail I had experienced them with. Yet I believe not all is lost, and at least I will be able to provide a glimpse of what is happening and what has happened during the past few days at Sharm and along the way to it.

By the way, I'll be back to Cairo next Monday God willing, on a short (perhaps one-day) work assignment. To tell the truth, I do not even want to go back to Cairo next week, I would have preferred to stay at Sharm, but I must go. Anyway, I'll be back at Sharm soon God willing. Perhaps the worst thing of it all (getting back to Cairo, then returning once more to Sharm) is the 6 or 7 hour bus that takes you from Sharm to Cairo or Cairo to Sharm (Sharm to Cairo is even worse, because of the harsher security checkpoints, but more on this later; actually that was the first thing I wanted to write about in my blog from the first night).

Hours Before

It's just a couple of hours till I get the bus on my way to Sharm. I should reach Sharm El Shaikh about 24 hours, more or less, from now. Pretty exciting, huh?

Second Trip

I'm now just about one day away from going for the second time in my life to Sharm. I'm excited about the trip and my coming days there God willing. I'm still trying to figure out what I'll be doing there during my stay. Perhaps I'll just sketch out the activities I'll be undertaking and then things would get clearer as time goes on.
